Scientific and Technical Info

We all need to keep active in order to remain fit and healthy but every step we take needs to be adequately protected. This paradox of movement can be explained by Newton’s Third Law of Motion which states that “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”

In other words, every time your foot exerts a force on the ground (for instance your heel striking the ground during the Contact Stage of gait) the ground simultaneously reacts by exerting a reaction force (or shock waves)

What are key strike points?

Key Strike Points arise during movement when the foot makes contact with the ground. In humans, there are three distinct stages when the foot makes contact with the ground (Contact, Midstance and Propulsive) All Asgi shoes are designed to dissipate these waves through the purposely designed sole.
