Love Those Shoes is looking for a PR Manager for an in-house role. We import, distribute, wholesale and retail shoes through various channels to market. The vacancy is immediate.

Job Description and tasks:

Work as part of a team to maximise media coverage
Create PR and marketing strategy for all campaigns and events
Monitor the press regularly to identify appropriate opportunities to promote the company
Ensure all press cuttings files are maintained
Ensure media enquiries are dealt with efficiently, accurately and with energy and enthusiasm
Set up media interviews, press events and photo calls, and ensure anyone representing the company is fully briefed
Manage media contact database
Design promotional literature as required
Liaising on an everyday basis with the media, often via telephone and email.
Working as part of a tight team to implement the PR strategy
Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
Promoting news stories and features to the media, often via the telephone
Event management, including promotional events
Attending and promoting events to the media

The successful candidate will have a proven background in PR and will have extensive experience working in-house or for an agency.

You will have strong written and communication skills and will be confident negotiating and building a rapport with the media.

The ideal candidate will also have had exposure to both B2B and B2C sectors and should have a minimum of 4 yearsexperience.

The ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a passionate work ethic is key to the position.
