Aura Performance has strived to change trainers for ever. We no longer use wooden tennis racquets or heavy, hand stitched leather footballs and for the same reasons the technology surrounding Aura trainers will change the way we think about running shoes. 

Founded by Tom, a self confessed “sports nut”, Aura Performance were originally created as a solution after years of high impact sports started to take there toll. After trying all the popular sports brands and technologies nothing seemed to provide the performance and features that he was looking and so he married his passion for sports with his love of gadgets to build the “Ultimate Performance Shoe” and so the basic prototype for Aura was born.

After ten years of prototypes, developments and miles of wear testing the team finally created the Aura Performance trainer, a style that was superior to anything else on the market at eradicating the impact on the body and boosting the wearer’s performance.

Technology Explained

These trainers have been named after the Greek God Mercury and like their namesake they have been designed for speed. They provide runners with a level of cushioning and responsiveness that is unrivalled by any other trainers they have experienced.

So what is it that makes Aura better than other trainers?

Customised Performance– The spring system in Aura trainers is specifically engineered to provide the runner with superior levels of cushioning, stability and energy return.

Superior Durability– The traditional materials used in the mid sole of trainers wears out significatly quicker than the compression springs in Aura Trainers, this causes their performance to degrade over time. DSS Springs on the other hand have been tested for the equivalent of 1000 miles and showed minimal levels of performance loss.

Dynamic Responsiveness– Traditional mid soles give a much slower rate of return than DSS springs do which eliminates the ability of the trainer to provide a rate of energy which would be meaningful. Research and tests have shown that with DSS technology, up to 90% of the impact energy is returned to the runner which increases efficiency and responsiveness.

Unparalled Cushioning – The DSS springs in Aura Trainers provide unrivalled cushioning and shock displacement. Product Comment : After suffering from knee pain for a while now Ive been looking for trainers which will give me good cushioning. I decided to give these a go as Id heard some good things online about them. I went for my first run in them last night and they are superb, I thought Id have to adapt my running style to begin with but these worked perfectly. Better than other trainers Ive tried without a doubt.
How did they fit ? Size was perfect
