To adapt to warm weather we all wear t-shirts in the summer however we don't change our trainers, instead using the same style all year round. It was down to this realisation that the idea behind Glagla shoes was born and they became the first trainers to be specifically designed for warm weather. The research and development of Glagla shoes began in 2002 and after several years of testing they were officially founded in March 2009 by company President, Karim Oumnia. 

Glagla are the first trainers in the world to have a natural ventilation system that offers complete circulation of air around the feet to keep them cool and comfortable all day long. This ventilation technology has been combined with flexibility to protect the foot and encourage natural movement. All of the effort and research that went into creating the Glagla shoe included a number of technologies and it was nominated for the "Technological innovation of the year".

The Glagla shoe is a pioneering design and is a step forward in the shoe market. glagla shoes are not merely comfortable, they also feature a ventilation system that cools the feet and allows them to breathe keeping them healthy.

The DRYTECH mesh upper is extremely lightweight and provides feet with total air circulation. At only 170 grams, Glagla are some of the lightest shoes in the world and reduce foot and leg fatigue. 

The revolutionary outsole of Glagla shoes is the only one that has been designed around the fact that 80% of the foot perspiration comes from the arch of the foot. The innovative outsole design reduces sweating by up to 50% which in turn also reduces unpleasant smells. 

The movement of the foot combined with the WINDER technology from the sole substantially increases the natural ventilation of the foot and eradicates three times more moisture than standard shoes. 

The structure of the new extremely light NEOTECH sole absorbs shocks and vibrations transmitted to the foot making them exceptionally comfortable while also protecting the joints. 

Thanks to its DRYTECH technology, the Glagla shoe dissipates heat and keeps your feet cool. The temperature of your feet is an average of 5°C lower than in normal shoes. 

Glagla shoes are machine washable at 30°C and the inner NEOTECH technology which is also used for deep sea diving suits is combined with DRYTECH mesh which allows Glagla shoes to dry in minutes. 

Due to the greatly enhanced ventilation combined with new technology, Glagla shoes can be worn with or without socks while still remaining comfortable and odour free. 

Thanks to the velcro and lace fastening system you can slip on Glagla in a few seconds, the lacing system is easy to use and keeps the shoe securely on the foot.

Product Comment : I bought these on a whim as I needed some plain white trainers but love the simplicity of the design and they are also comfortable to wear. I like the velcro strap because it makes them easy to put on even if I am having a day when I’m all thumbs!
How did they fit ? Size was perfect
