Hyperhidrosis is the medical term that describes excessively sweaty feet. Although it doesn’t pose a significant health threat, it is uncomfortable and can cause embarrassment.
If left untreated and if the feet aren’t kept clean then the condition can cause an environment ripe for bacteria and fungus to grow, leading to other conditions such as athletes foot and infection.
