Looking After Your Childs Feet

Throughout our lives we’ll walk around 115,000 miles! It is a vast distance and it goes without saying that it's better if we can walk free from foot problems, back pain or joint pain.

It’s never too late to start looking after your feet , but when you have a child it is important to begin looking after their feet as soon as they’re born. The shoes they wear is of major importance and will affect them for the rest of their life.  This care needs to be maintained into their teen years as it isn’t until the age of 18 that the 26 bones in the feet are completely developed.

Until a child's feet are ready to ‘go it alone’, they’ll need shoes that are specifically designed to cater to each stage of development - from those first days to those first steps, and from those first jumps to those first runs !

Wearing the right shoes with correct support, and maintaining a good level of foot care throughout these years will prevent our children from developing problems in their early years and will also give them the best shot at avoiding foot health problems in later life.
