Technology Explained

Rockport have teamed with Adidas to incorporate sports cushioning systems in to high quality men's smart and casual shoes. The result has meant that Rockport have one of the most superior collections of men's shoes in the industry, able to offer the comfort and performance of a trainer, whilst not compromising one bit on style and design.

To achieve this quality and performance Rockport have included and developed the following technologies which feature in different combinations across the LoveThoseShoes Rockport range:

adiPRENE by Adidas: This is an exclusive adidas innovation, adiPRENE provides superior heel and forefoot cushioning for ultimate comfort and resilience. Which means you stay on your feet longer, no matter where you are.

truWALK: This architecture provides a soft strike, smooth roll and easy flex which mimics the foot's natural walking motion. The landing sweet spot directs the impact energy into the rolling motion to propel the foot forward. Convex sole geometry enhances the smooth, rolling motion from heel strike to toe contact and the flexible sole follow the natural movement of the foot so the shoe moves with you.

Adidas geoFit: An anatomically designed collar and heel padding to provide a fit that is both exceptionally comfortable and supportive.

Dynamic Suspension: A cushion of moving air placed directly in the foot bed react to your every step. 

WATERPROOF: Hydro-Shield waterproofing substances are tanned into the leather and a special seam-sealant helps to keep the feet dry in wet weather. This technology also features a breathable Gore-Tex waterproof membrane layer that keeps the feet dry.

Product Comment : These shoes are lightweight, smart, excellent quality leather and the soles make you feel like you are wearing trainers. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on (really!), and they get even better the more you wear them. The sole is really unique for a formal shoe, its shock absorbing, and they look really stylish.
