Softwaves are extremely flexible because they are made using a Stitch and Turn process. This process is a new innovation in footwear that offers increase durability and flexibility.

Technology Explained

Softwaves have been developed to put the fun back in to footwear, whilst keeping your feet healthy.

Their design incorporates 3 different technologies that work together to offer complete comfort:

Thermal Stability: This concept has been developed to favour heat exchange from the foot to the foot bed. The top of the insole features a 'wave' pattern that creates a spongy uneven surface that depresses when pressure is applied, circulating air through the channels in the foot bed. Air channels are also chiselled in to the underneath of the foot bed to ensure air is circulated all round the shoe. This concept ensures that the feet are kept at their optimum temperature, not too hot and not too cold.

Active Massage: The 'wave' concept that is impressed on to the footbed works to massage the bottom of the foot and relieve tension and stress, supporting an active lifestyle.







Air Flow: The wave concept ensures that the correct amount of air is circulated around the foot, to alleviate foot fatigue and over heating.




Softwaves also incorporates a manufacturing innovation that ensures they are the most flexible, comfortable footwear around:

Stitch and Turn: This is an innovation that is used in the first stages of manufacture. It refers to a way of stitching the shoes together that increases their durability and flexibility.  When you Stitch and Turn a footwear product, the upper and an outsole are attached inside out and then turned inside in. This means that their stitching is super strong and protected and the upper and the outsole are bonded in such a strong way that they can take more strain and can flex and bend with surprising ease.

BIG WIDE FEET, NEED ORTHOTICS FOR ARTHRITIC KNEE, HAVE BUNION, FLAT FEET,65 YEARS OLD BUT NOT READY FOR old fogey velcro SHOES quite YET. HORRAY FoR YOUR SIZE 9 MARNY PLUMS - yum!
